I recommend the classic black lambskin mini Lady Dior. It's your first luxury bag and you already had the black mini in mind. The crinkled lambskin is very nice, but because it wasn't love at first sight, then maybe go for the bag you originally set out for. The Lady Dior won't crease that easily. While I think the mini Lady Dior looks great with casual clothes (better than does the Medium, I believe), I just don't think it looks great with my lounging pants (erm pajamas) Oh, I'm 5'5" as is Rachel McAdams in the picture above. I absolutely love Dior but have never been a fan of the saddle bag. The lady Dior is dreamy and a timeless piece that transcends fashion. The Dior collection peaked in my opinion under the tutelage of RAF Simmons. The only other Dior bag that compares to the Lady is the Diorrisimo which is a true work of art in fashion and craftsmanship. Dior seems to make lovely wallets, with a modicum of care even the most delicate wallet should last for years. If you are referring to the LV canvas wallets, they are indeed very durable however some people have been reporting issues with cracking of the canvas and of the sealant. They then followed us around the store to assist with anything we wanted. We ended up purchasing shoes and a scarf for the hubby, and a mini saddle and travel pouch for me. We also wanted to try eating at the Monsieur Dior restaurant but weren’t able to make a reservation beforehand.
If you don't have wide feet, I recommend sizing down 0.5 size. I'm a 36 in most shoes and and take mostly 35.5 in the J'adior. The patent leather tends to run narrower (I was in-between, so decided to take the 36) than the other material -- . Tbh, I wasn't interested until I saw Caitlin Pawlowski's Lady Dior small in Fard (and ofc her embroieded lady dior ) haha Both are beautiful. The Diorever may be discontinued one day (not anytime soon, but apart from the Lady Dior, no Dior bag is completely permanent), but the Lady Dior won't be. This means that a decade later, your My Lady Dior will still look current.
